Q: What is a custom tufted rug?

A: Our handmade rugs are created using a specialized tufting machine that loops and then cuts yarn into sturdy cloth fabric. We then take extra care to hand trim the yarn for a smooth surface across the entire rug. The yarn is then glued on the back side and topped with a backing for durability. We finish off the rug by carving out details.

Q: How long does it take to process my order?

A: For rugs currently in stock on our website, please allow up to 48 hours for processing and handling.

Q: Is that processing timeframe the same for custom ordered rugs?

A: No, for custom orders, please allow 4-6 weeks for production. We strive to get custom orders completed as quickly as possible, but as they are handmade, it does take time for us to produce them and we do not want to sacrifice quality by rushing to create your rug.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order once it is shipped?

A: Due to the weight of finished rugs, all orders are shipped using ground services from either UPS or FedEx. Depending on your location, in-transit shipping times generally vary from 1-5 business days. All orders are shipped with tracking numbers which we provide to you as well.

Q: Where can I use my rug?

A: We recommend that your custom rug be used only in light foot traffic areas where they will not be exposed to water. Each of our rugs come pre-installed with hangers on the backside, so they make great use as wall art pieces as well. Please see our Care Instructions for more details.
